Optimum price / performance ratio for a film throughput up to 840 X-ray films per hour - processes films to 35 cm in width.

OPTIMAX is the legendary tabletop film processor. It can process all common film-types and formats used in conventional standard radiography.The exclusive use of high quality components in combination with the one-piece body housing, ensure highest reliability. It goes without saying that we supply the OPTIMAX with everything that is needed for operation like light protection cover, replenishment containers and connecting hoses.

The integrated stand-by mode reduces water and energy consumption. Film detection with a micro sensor enables intelligent and economic replenishment depending on the processed film surface. Thus the OPTIMAX helps saving chemicals and provides a constant high image quality.

Operation is simple: The user is guided by acoustic and visual controls and after 90 seconds a film is ready for diagnose. As an option the film exit can be guided into the light area.

All processing parameters influencing image quality are factory set to optimal values. This reduces operator error. Just plug in the new processor, fill it with chemicals and the ECOMAX is ready for operation. Simply ingenious.

Not only is the outer design of the ECOMAX unique, all technical innovations have only one aim: “Optimal Image Quality”. This includes the roller rack design and the reshaped chemical tanks.

PROTEC OPTIMAX 2010

The latest development technology and superior performance - our top model for the X-ray film development to 35 cm in width.

The OPTIMAX 2010 processes all common film types and formats used in conventional standard radiography up to 35 cm in width. It impresses with its modern design and its further optimised serviceability.

The proven concept of the one-piece body housing is used in the OPTIMAX 2010, too.

An optimised film detection with microsensors together with individually adjustable replenishment rates allow a more economic and more ecological use of valuable chemicals without concessions to the image quality. In addition to the integrated stand-by mode, when the processor is not in use, a water save mode is available to further reduce water consumption while the processor is working.

Processing speed, temperatures and replenishment rates can easily be adjusted on the control panel, which is also used for automatic tank filling during the warm-up cycle. All set parameters can comfortably be recalled and monitored on the digital display. The filling level control in the developer tank and the integrated overflow protection further improve the safety. In combination with the most robust components used for the COMPACT 2 it stands for reliability and precision. Film detection with four infrared sensors allows intelligent and economic replenishment depending on the processed film surface, with individually adjustable rates. This saves chemicals and provides high image quality constantly.

Parameters like processing time, temperatures and replenishment rates can be set individually and stored in five different programs. In addition acoustic and visual controls make operation convenient and safe. The anti-crystallisation and anti-oxidation programs in combination with the continuous circulation of the chemicals ensure permanent readiness for use and consistent good image quality.
